SELECT YOUR STUDENT INFORMATION SYSTEM (SIS)
The Closing Report automatically takes data from multiple sources—your school's Student Information System (Jupiter), the institution's eAdventist profile, and DataRollup, as well as manual data entry. When this data is incomplete or not correctly set up, you will see errors when you attempt to generate or submit the report. Addressing and fixing these errors requires that you find the source of the missing or incorrect data.
Generate a troubleshooting version of the report in Data Rollup with as much information as you have so that you can see what errors need addressing. Compare your report with the sample below and find the places where you need help. Click on a blue highlighted area to open a window with an explanation of the section and instructions to complete entry or fix mistakes in your data.

School Information
The data in this section comes from your school's eAdventist profile. If changes need to be made, contact your conference education office. They are the ones who have access to eAdventist to make changes.
Data coming from eAdventist is:
- School Legal Name (from your government tax ID certificate)
- School ID (ORG ID)
- Union
- Conference
- Address
- Telephone
- Fax
- Head Teacher/Principal
- School Size (1, 2, 3 room school or larger)
- School Type (PK/K-8, PK/K-10, PK/K-12, 9-12)
This data impacts both Opening and Closing Reports.
The data syncs between Data Rollup servers and eAdventist nightly. Return to Data Rollup after the next data sync and check to see that the updated information is showing up.
Additionally, make sure this information is also correct in your Jupiter School Setup (Figure B). On "Setup > Schools", fill out the school address and the grade levels taught at the school, and the Data Rollup fields at the bottom of the screen.
Student Information:
A. Total Registered
For each student, visit their "Students > Data Rollup" screen to indicate their baptism status.
Other student information such as grade level is entered on the "Students > Add/Edit" screen.
Important:
This is an OFFICIAL count. An official student is enrolled in two or more classes.
Examples:
- 8th grade students taking Algebra 1 classes are not counted at the high school level.
- Students enrolled in 11th and 12th grade with APLE (Griggs International Academy) are NOT counted.
The school who is transcripting the student is the one who officially counts the students.
Is School Closing?
Check the "School Closing" box on the Setup screen if your school will be closing.
APLE = Accredited Programs for Learning Environment
F. Number of APLE students:
These are students who are enrolled in APLE through Griggs International Academy. They are NOT part of your officially enrolled students as they are getting their transcripts from GIA.
